I grew up in Texas, running through the woods and wading into creeks with my brothers—because that’s just how we lived. My parents lived for deer camp, and hunting and fishing weren’t hobbies; they were part of who we were.

BURLEBO started there, rooted in that upbringing. My parents ran their own small business, and I watched the grit, passion, and long hours they poured into it. That example stuck with me. Early on, I knew I wanted to carve my own entrepreneurial path—and it only made sense to build something around the things I loved most: the outdoors, hunting, and fishing.

A few years ago, I was ready to walk away from the corporate world. My wife Lexi and I decided to go all in and create the best outdoor lifestyle brand we possibly could. In the beginning, Lexi’s grandmother was sewing BURLEBO size labels into Comfort Colors tees so it would look like we were making our own. Today, we design and fully manufacture every product ourselves—from performance pullovers and swim trunks to socks and athletic shorts—with purpose stitched into every thread.
